Best bmx bike brand? |
im buying a bmx bike and i wanted to know which brands were best /perferred Schwinn wasn't bought out by Wal-Mart, but by Pacific Cycles (along with GT and Mongoose). The quality of all 3 when downhill as a resort. Redline is a little bit better, but barely. Redline is a good bike and they are usually pretty light also we the people bikes sound like a good bike but i have a schwinn pro stock its a really tough bike i have had it for about 6 years and i am just now buyin rims and new parts for it but since schwinn got bought out by walmart you prolly want to get some of the older schwinns DO NOT get a Mongoose or a Next if at all possible. Those two, Next espicially, are probably the worst you could get. They are cheap consumer grade junk along with the newer Schwinns, as mentioned above. I own a mongoose and a GT both older models, pretty good bikes. I konw mongoose was bought out by a retailer not so sure about GT. But right know I would say Ither Integral or Eastern are your best bet. or you can always custom build your own! Haro...i have had my haro for about three or four years and it is holding up great...i have not had any problems except for with poping tires..but that is my fault Mongoose and Next are the most common they hold up pretty well DONT GET A NEXT OR MOONGOSE THEY SUCK HUGE HAIRY MONKEY ANIS!!!!!! get a fit or kink or we the people go to danscomp.com |

Some shops have parts packages, but usually of lesser quality than you'd get on a $500 Complete. see www.danscomp.com for parts ...no because since your looking for a flatland bike the mirraco icon intro is more of a freestyle bike and mirraco isnt a very good bike company but go to danscomp.com then go to bikes then it... You need a wide wheel[doublewall] 48 spoke wheel. Ride a wide tire,at least 1.95/2.1. Most steel chromoly bmx frames will hold you,yet you are a double xl size rider. As well your stem must be v... Racing bikes generally have a longer back-end, to provide more stabilization when jumping. They also usually contain a lot of light weight aluminum parts that wouldn't be able to handle the ab... Use a spanner to tighten the pedal. For the right pedal. Turn it clockwise. For the left pedal turn it anti/counter-clockwise to tighten. If you haven't got the right size spanner, you may ... if i were you i would go with the we the people trust. The we the people has a full chromo frame and is also a light weight bike with top quality parks. The eastern element is also a good bike but ... ask at your local bike shop they will gov you really good advidce and not jus peoples opinion ... |
