Buying a bmx bike, im 6'1 230lbs. what would be the best bike for me? |
im looking to buy a bmx bike i am 14, 6'1 230lbs. i am going to be using this bike for riding around, tricks, and jumps. im willing to buy a bike off a reliable site, but i would prefer a bike shop near were i live(rhode island) so if i need maintenance it will be easy to bring the bike to them. i know of one place near me that i hear is really good it is called Circuit, but other than that just the general haro shops and stuff i dont know many other places. if you give me a suggestuon for a bike could you please give me reasons why. Thanks so much! hope to hear from some people soon. i only want to spend in the 300-400 range You need a wide wheel[doublewall] 48 spoke wheel. Bikes in the $425-$450 range will work. You need at least a 20.75"TT, and 100% chromoly frame/fork/bars. See Danscomp.com. |
