How much does the Cadillac Escalade BMX Bike weigh?

I know the SHipping wieght is 40. 6 pounds but it says that the bike is 100 % cromoly.

Someone please help me out here. 10 points

Keep in mind that cromoly (chrome molybdneum) is steel, and like anything, there is cheap cromoly and good cromoly. The bike you are looking at is the cheap stuff. Also, remember that hi tensile steel and cromoly weigh the same by volume.

That being said, when a bike is shipped they usually allow 2 pounds for packing materials, so the bike is probably very close to 39 pounds.

I strongly suggest that you look at another bike if you want a good one. Cadillac brand bikes are imported by Kent- the same people that do GMC bikes. Kent, by the way, is owned by Walmart. Neither Cadillac nor GM nor any other car company designs or builds the bikes.

You can spend the same amount of money on a KHS, Diamondback, or Raleigh and although they won't be as fancy looking they WILL be much better, plus you'll get service after the sale at the bike shop that sells it to you.
