Why wont my new pedals fit onto my bmx bike?

i bought some brand new demolition pedals for my bmx bike but they dont fit (the part you screw to the bike is too big) and i cant return them is there anything i can do so they fit onto my bike

Yep.....9/16" is the standard size. Usually one-piece cranks or cheaper bikes will have the smaller 1/2" size.

I'm afraid you're stuck, bud. If you can't return the pedals where you bought them, then maybe you can sell them and get some of your expense back.

The other option would be to get some new cranks for your bike, but that'd be a pricey alternative.

you bought 9/16" peddals you need 1/2" peddals.
