Is the easternlowdown a good racing bmx bike for beginners if not could you please tell me a afordabable one? |
i just started bmx and im want a new racing bike. can you please tell me a good affordable one for racing on clay please stay in the $200 range and if you could tell me ways to raise up money for this bike i already have $75! please be serious!thankyou! No the Eastern Lowdown 2008 is not a good racing bike. |

I'm guessing you want to Flatland. If so, then you should get a DK and customize it up for flatlanding. I am currently trying to get a new bike since my old "freestyle" BMX was accid... you should diffinately check out either danscomp.com and jrbicycles.com...they have a really good range...and also eastern, stolen, kink and fit bikes are all good and arn't too pricey...hope ... Wrong on the "no bike" answer. The soon to be released '08 model of Sunday! will offer a version with it. ...No,not to connect the cable,but after your done perhaps. Place the bike upside down and then pull the lever towards the bar as if you were braking.You should see the hole and slot for the cable en... use wd-40 or some soapy water in a squirt bottle and work em off. To put them back on just rinse and dry them off and spray some hairspray in them and slide em back on. works like a charm. ...If you have a barrel adjuster on the brake turn it in to loosen the brake. If not Loosen the not holding the cable in place and allow a little slack in it and tighten it down. ...haro f series is a good bike. it might be a tad too heavy buy overall is a pretty solid bike. it is good for just riding and soem jumping. depending on the model (f3) most comes with pegs ...I'd say a KHS.....a real bang for the buck ... |
