Is this BMX bike good for me?

I just got a new frame for the bike I'm building and the top tube is 19.5". I am 17 and 5'7. Will this be okay for me or not? Thanks.

You might be a little bit cramped, but hey, that's how bmx bikes are. You're not TOO tall for that frame, but you might notice that manuals are a bit TOO easy to do. I don't think you can fit a person to a bike (especially bmx) just by giving the tt length and your height. You will need to ride it, and see if it's good for you. Also, you can always position the bars a little farther forward-giving it that 1970s look-to be a bit more stretched out.

Is this a flatland bike? Are you going to be building it up as a flatland bike or street bike. A slightly shorter tt is good for flatland but usually 19.5 is a bit short for street.

Honestly, you just have to ride it before you can know. You might absolutely hate it, but chances are that you'll like it.

Yes that is a good size frame for your height. Are you going to be racing BMX or street riding ??? That will have more to do with the size frame you will need. A frame with a 19.5" TT is an Expert size. A PRO will be 20" to 20.5" TT... But at 5.7 the Expert should be a good choice
