Indexed shifting troubles? |
I just took apart the bar end shifters on my old touring bike to make an adjustment. I put it back together following Shimano's original instructions. However, my indexed shifting is gone, even though I don't have it set to friction. Any idea where the trouble might be? You've got the ratchet cog in upside down. Thanks. It worked perfectly. Curious that Shimano's directions would be totally reversed like that. Report It Wow, without seeing what you did, it's hard to judge. Did you get the index ratchet backwards? |
