My name is Ray. 17 years of age. I am a very optimistic, and self-motivated individual.?


I have always been commited to improving my mind--specifically building confidence, communication skills and overcoming fears. During the summer I had embarked on an epic journey (a 1000km bike tour) and I never felt so on top of the world. I was fulfilling my adventurous lust, and felt so powerful. My main motives of of my desire mental improvement, and confidence was to establish a relationship. Upon returning I failed and was rejected a number of times. I was still nervous and unable to be calm upon making efforts, My close brother moved away and I also got a new job (the one i had wnated to) So these events somehow led me into a huge downward spiral. I'm constantly concerned about my mental health. Mainly the fact that recently I have become extremely self-conscious! One day out of the blue i couldn't be myself around my best friend. I can't be myself anymore. I am anxious. Insomnia. Frustrated. I can't be me around my family...a huge ego conlict It is frightening beyond belief

My question is, what course of action should I take to eleminate this disturbing social anxiety and inability to be my normal self.
