Seems like an deal area, we dont want to pay top dollar for trips etc and are looking for comfortable accomadation, good local food and a bed ! with some exploring during the day/night but dont want to get tied into organised 7 day events - feeling like more orf a traveller than a tourist - bit of globtreker fan - any thoughts ? Have heard you can arrive and meet folk with rooms to let ? Can you just wonder into a nice hotel for the night ? Any general comments ? I see I have another 466 letters - Egypt taught us local contacts (plentifull) gave savings of at least half on tour guide prices for trips - Croatia looks great for walking biking and paddling - some of the prices seem a bit whacky 拢350-拢450 self catering - 拢450 拢1000 hotels _- thought this was good value area ??
