Have somebody else experience whith hubs? |
from White industries ? Which top quality rims for touring bike is strongest . Mavic or Rigida ? Also want to know which bicycle shop carry Brooks products in Vancouver area ? Air pump , which one is most reliable ? My final question is which is best rack on market to use for low riders ? White is a great hub, but for close to the same money I would recommend Phil Wood especially for touring. Mavic hoops are pretty much the best out there that are readily available for custom builds. Brooks products are extremely difficult to find so I think you'll have to do a store-by-store inquiry. As far as pumps AND any kind of racks go, Jim Blackburn (usually sold under the "Blackburn" name) makes the best. Source(s): 27 years in the industry White Industries hubs are very high end. You could probably do just as well with Shimano XT or Ultegra depending on your frame spacing. A good rim for loaded touring is the Velocity Dyad. It's reasonably light, very strong, and will hold big tires. |
