Has anyone out there gone on a Chicago Bike Tour? They are a guided tour about 3 hours long - they sound like a good time but the other part of me says it might be kinda dorky..... riding around with a group of tourists to see the city. My hubby loves biking so i thought i would surprise him with a trip there(we live in Milwaukee so only a 2 hour drive). I thought we would go see a Cubs game, stay overnight then do the bike tour the next day and go see Wicked that night. I spose we could just do our own bike ride too but i thought maybe the guided tour would be fun. We are in our early 30's - is that a good thing to do or is that for the 45+ age group? Thx for your input.
I went on a guided bike tour last year and it was an absolute blast. I'm even younger (22) and my girlfriend and I had an absolutely amazing time, everyone in the group was super nice and at the conclusion we ate a great meal. We also did the same thing and watched a Cub's game so I highly recommend that as well! Have fun on your trip! |
