Bike camp poll? |
I had an idea for a summer "camp" - biking across the usa on a supported tour for under $6,000 Anyone think this is a good idea? I would go for it if I when to that camp. It sound like fun and you get a work out as well. sure, go for it! Great Idea but make sure to have insurance waiver forms so your not responsible for others injuries or property Love the idea. The cost would kill me though. Think a bit smaller. Go regional and you have yourself a winner. Good Luck! These tours exist already. I don't know how many people want to suffer that much. I am thinking of starting a local tour company...but not across the us. Try it though. But be careful, it sounds like you want it to be for kids. If one of them runs away at some point, you are liable for their safety. I suggested that to my wife...have a tour just for high school kids. Backroads Tours is the leader in this space, but they don't do that format. Oh also check Amazon, there are some books, one of them is about a bunch of kids who ride across the country one summer.
