How much carbon will i emit if I fly to new zealand? |
I have a freind who is talking about flying to new zealand to go on some bike tours and that seems silly to me since there are plenty bike tours in oregon. Since carbon emissions are a hot topic right now I am curious how much carbon is emited when flying on an airline. Heaps. I'm not sure how much to be honest. It probably seems like a contradiction but the cycle tours here are absolutely not to be missed. The most beautiful scenery in the world. He may as well get here before air travel is banned completely. The exact same amount whether your friend is on it or not You or the plane or both? It is a lot. Don't be an idiot. The plane is going to go there whether or not you are on it. To restrict your personal travel in the name of trying to help save the environment is just stupid.
