Good or bad?

when i was twelve i had a fright
and without and details you just might
not understand what it could be
i fell off my bike and skinned my knee

my neighbor just stopped and stared
i was afraid i was gonna run out of air
i was just so so scared
i was hoping for a good repair

my mother was mad
but i didn't care i was sad
she bandaged up my knee
for that i was happy

it took a good month or so for it to heal
i couldn't believe it happened so fast, was it real?
but finally my mother said it was okay
i was able to swim at the start of 7th grade!

Its a good start! For some building critism, you might not want to rhyme in that style(AABB) Try making it fancy like ABAB , ABCA, ABAB, or maybe ABCB.
