Machanics Lien?

I had a women contact me to fix a snowmobile and a motorcyle so she could sell them the sled was pretty much a basket case same with the bike she wanted 1100 for the sled so i told her that ill fix them both and deduct it from the sled and pay the differance if there was one the repairs on both far exceded the value of the sled in the meantime the bank called and was going to repo the motorcycle then she called me up wanting the full value of rhe sled that the deal we had wasnt the deal she made i have 6 witnesses saying the deal i made was the deal she agreed to do im fileing a lien is there anyway she can get out of it and come back on me?

First of all there is two sides to ever story and i've haven't heard her side. But experience will teach you ALWAYS GET IT IN WRITING.. You might have a good case in small claims court but you will need receipts too.

MECHANIC'S LIENS MAY VARY BY STATE. IN MY STATE THE MECHANIC'S LIEN OUTWEIGHS THE BANK'S LIEN.
WE MUST SEND A CERTIFIED LETTER TO THE CUSTOMER (AND THE BANK) STATING ALL DETAILS INCLUDING THE TOTAL REPAIR BILL AND ANY STORAGE DUE. THE CUSTOMER (OR LIEN HOLDER/ BANK) THEN HAS 30 DAYS PAY THE BILL AND PICK UP THE UNIT OR IT IS SOLD AT AUCTION. THE MECHANIC GETS ALL HIS MONEY OR THE VEHICLE.

if you do not have anything on paper you are screwed.
