How to know the mechanics of a bike/motorcycle? |
I want to know repairing of bikes by reading books on my own. I mean an Indian Bike like Bajaj CT100 DLX. Haynes do a Tech Book series,Motorcycle Basics Techbook 3515.There are more covering fuel systems,Electrical etc. Get something like a Haynes or Chilton manual and read it. They're usually oriented toward the novice. Also go to your library and find books on (engine) mechanical theory and electrical theory. Changing parts is the easy part, being able to diagnose the problem and know which part to change is the hard part. It's vital that you understand how and why things do what they do. Or don't do is you're looking for a problem. the best way to learn is through experience.... Hey JK |
