How can I repair a leak in my bicycle tire at the air valve?

Thanks for any tips to get me back on the road.

yea just buy a new tire tube there not that expensive, you could get them at a wal-mart or local bike shop.

You can't.

Replace it.
He's right you can't.
If it's coming out from the center/inside of valve then you can try another valve core but if it's leaking from the tube at base of valve it can't be fixed.
just replace the tube
The safest thing to do is replace the tube with a new one.
The only way to fix it is to replace the tube. Any damage done at or around the valve has to be replaced.
