My AC crapped out on me recently, forcing me to drive with the windows down until I get it repaired. Because the windows have been down more often, I've been hearing a vibrating/rattling sound that is similar to playing cards in the bicycle spokes. This only happens when I apply the gas pedal with the car in motion (as opposed to applying the gas while the car idling in park). I'm not sure what it can be or if it's something to be concerned with. The car is going into the dealership in 2 days for the AC repair and I'm not sure if I should bother having the tech look into this problem for fear of having to shell out more money for what may or may not be a problem of concern.
Not sure without hearing it but I do know they had a problem with the pcv valve making a noise like that, I have seen people replace there clutch, cooling fan, all types of things and it would only be the pcv valve. Seen it many times with these cars. It could be a few things and without hearing the noise first hand it's hard to diagnose, I would have the mechanic listen to it and see whaat he thinks it is.
