Where can I buy parts for cheap bicycles? |
I know about Nashbar , Performance etc. for the better stuff but sometimes I need to repair a Huffy or a Roadmaster. You really fix these? Generally it is cheaper to buy another one. They are throw away quality at a throw away price. If you use the same components as they come out with, they will last about the same time. If you have too, at least try to put on better components. You have your reputation to consider. craigslist norvef Given that the bike is a Huffy or Roadmaster in most instances the parts may not be name brands, thus difficult to find or compatible. Also if you aren't mechanically inclined it will cost you for a bike shop to repair. You're better off buying a new one. Or put an add in craigslist for your needed parts. Isn't that sort of like painting a garbage can ? |
