I had a meniscus tear repair and a microfracture done on my right knee in August and currently undergoing physiotheraphy. Right now I swim and bike + do weights as part of the rehab. I love running and could like to resume running as soon as possible. Recently I tried doing 10 minutes on the threadmill and there was no pain after the run. Am thinking of pushing further. Is it wise? It is now 16 weeks after the surgery and there is no feeling of pain at any time.
I think that would be up to you AND your doctor. I wouldn't push too hard too fast so you don't reinjure the knee. |
