What is the significance of pushing things in dreams?

I was napping about half an hour ago and dreamed the following:

I was in the main building of my university. (I'm starting there on Tuesday, so my dreams have taken place there quite often.) In that building, the four floors are connected by two narrow escalators and one equally narrow staircase. I was standing on the second floor, looking down at the first. There were no guardrails for the escalators or the stairs, so you could have just fallen off the second floor and went splat on the first.

There was a piano on wheels next to me. (I used to play piano when I was younger.) It was the first to hit the floor, and it was broken beyond repair. Next went an adult-sized bicycle, which only suffered a bent front wheel. Next was a skateboard, which lost its wheels and one of its corners. Finally, there was the bike I used to ride as a kid, whose front wheel was also bent. I wasn't sure if I had pushed them all deliberately or if it was an accident, or if it was a little of both.

Sounds as though you have a rebellious streak in you which vented itself in this drem, both in headwear, and pushing things over the stairs. Anyway it was all stuff you had finishd with or was broken so it didn't really matter and nobody noticed anyway.
Eveyone still thinks your the sweet compliant girl and doesn't know about your rebellious streak!
