What is the top speed of a 97 Gixxer? |
I just recently bought a 97 gixxer and though it needs a little bit of repair before riding I was wonder what the average top speed is? Second, would anyone know of any motorcycle repair or certification classes possibly online or video? I also was wondering what modifications I could do to it to increase the bikes performance and reliability? speed depends on size...1000 gsxr is limited by feds to 185... 750 will run160 easy....600 'bout the same with stock gearing... as a former instructor at MMI phoenix, i can tell you that internet,and mail order stuff will get you nowhere in this industry...mfg's only recognize a very few select schools..MMI and AMI or wyotech. the best thing to insure reliabilty..is don't go too far from stock...suzuki tests everything before they put it on the street... they build it as fast as they can and still have it hold up to all that riders can give it. My '04 750 tops out at 177 indicated... stock gearing |
