How do you repair a puncture on a racing bike rim?

silly question buy this is my first bike with no tube

If the rim is damaged, unfortunately you will need to replace it or have a new wheel built...

If it is a tubular tire issue, just replace the tire... it is worth the extra money.

Buy another one dude.its not worth the repair
buy a new inner tube from 4-6 bucks. ask your shop to help you replace it. they'll charge labor
tufo makes a sealant designed to seal smallish punctures in tubular tires... i'm sure a google search would locate it for you...
