Will DMG put the final nails in the coffin of American roadracing?

When I first heard about the DMG takeover I felt there is no way they could do worse then the current regime.

Then the first announcement they made was the Daytona200 would not be a FX race. I thought....COOL, lets get the best bikes with the best riders in the premier race!

Now, with the new class structure/rules I feel American roadracing could be in big trouble.

What works for car racing is not necessarily good for the bikes.....

When you have someone like Matt Mladdin saying its all wrong. you have to think something is amiss.
it seems like its going down the formula one route. and that's about as exciting as watching paint dry.
But the MotoGP changed classes and it just got better. what will happen when they get rid of the 250 class is another question. (that will no doubt pop up here in the future)
as it stands now I think its going in the wrong direction. but it does need some kind of a change to survive. they might as well give it a go.

Its very sad to see & sad to say, but the DMG Group will be he death of the AMA.

The title needs to work like the World Supers. Forget the " one tyre rule" nail, but the idea of having different bikes, in different type of racing.

The system has worked in the past, but its all **** up now.

What the hell are 600cc 's racing for the main race win at Daytona 200 F.F.S ???

Where are thee full on Superbike 1000 / 1200 cc monsters ?? Laying down sub 1.30..... lap times ???

Damm shame. Lots of talent out there, I hope the talent finds a good home.
