Best commuting tires 70C not larger than 28s. Got a pinch flat today with my tiny racing tires.?

Want to spend under $20.00. I might ride with a little wet. I have some nasty urban areas along with about 10 miles each way on smooth concrete bike path.

Under 20 each that is.

I've got Hardcase tires too, and no flats in the year I've had them (knock on wood) and that's with riding over rocks, glass, potholes, etc.

Just remember that pinch flats come from improper installation or inflation of the tubes, not the tires themselves.

Continental Ultra Gator Skins are good but they cost more than you want to spend. I'm pretty sure they come in a 28.

I've got Bontragger Hard Case 700x32 tires on my new Trek hybrid but haven't ridden then enough to offer an opinion one way or the other. Way too wide for a road bike anyway. No way they'd fit on my Bianchi.

Well if you got a pinch flat, new tires will not prevent that. Proper air pressure is what will prevent pinch flats.

If you got skinny road tires, you need to inflate it to 100 or more PSI depending on the tire.

Yep, it isn't your tires. Be careful about inflation.
