Yes, the kx100 not as powerfull as a KX125.
The kx100 is classified as a supermini/85cc/80cc group.

KX 100 don't have as much power as a 125. The only hope of racing a KX 100 in a 125/250 race would be to bore the engine to as big as you can get it, 80 over and put a performance exhaust on it. but it still probably would' touch the power of a KX 125.

Adding to motox86, the supermini class is for 85 to 105cc bikes.
