250 or 450?? |
ive been riding a drz 125 since 06 and im looking to upgrade. Either one of these bikes are going to be monsters compared to your current ride! The 250 would be the better bet just because you don't have a lot of experience on full sized bikes yet. It will produce more than enough power to pull you around any MX track at a good clip. Stay safe and have fun. Go with the 450, if you buy the 250 in 3 months you will want the bigger one.. 250 should be fine. Friend and me were on a Yamaha DT100 one time, combined weight of over 400lbs and the little thing pulled like a train up hills. Depends to some extent on how good a rider you think you are. You can get yourself into trouble more easily on a 450 than a 250, but not get a lot faster lap time. well i would go with the 250. there is a huge power difference between the 250 and the 125. im 6' and weigh in at 175 and a 250 4 stroke pulls me around just fine, and im pullin wheelies at about 55 mph on the thing. dont go to big to fast or youll get hurt real quick. hope this helps |
