Where are Honda NSR500's sold? |
This would be my dream bike someday. Could you buy them anywhere since it's a racing bike? And how much would one cost? If you have the money these guys seem to have what you desire, or as close as you can get. http://www.gpstar.net/gpmotorcycles.html... Introduced in 1984 and produced through 2001. Honda won 10 world champioships with the V4 500cc NSR500. If you could actually find someone that had one and was also willing to part with it, which I believe would be somewhere in between slim and none. I can't imagine that it would be less than a $1,000,000.00 USD. Yes thats a million dollars, but like I said who actually owns one besides Honda Racing Company (HRC) of Japan and a few museums. HRC might have one of Mick Doohans GP winning bikes. They are usually destroyed after the season is over! You could buy one of the Ducati 990 MotoGP bikes for about $70,000 though a real bargain when compared to the NSR500. To Top it, a NSR500 is a 2-stroke motorcycle & isn't street-legal, It will probably kill you anyway or get a very expensive Speeding ticket, + Jail Time & Confiscation of an Illegal,Race-Only Vehicle.BTW...this bikes has at least 200 rear-wheel HP...(Just to let you know what your'e in for!)"
