What do you think of aero helmits?

im thinking of buying one of those aero helmits(the ones that are in the shape of a beak) i like the way they look and im into tt racing, my bike is aero, i have arobars and im wondering if the price is worth it.

it depends on how many races you actually plan on attending. If you are only going to do a few races then no.
If you have bought everything else why not.
if you have light aero wheels, light frame, light gears, great aero body pistion, aerobar mount water bottle, etc, then maybe,
they have been known to be more likely to cause neck injuries in teh event of a crash than standard helmets,
they are only effective above 20mph
wear one so you learn to spell
Like above said, it depends on how many races you plan on competing in. If you are a casual TT racer, then probably not worth it. If you are looking to bump up you cat. license number, and are really dedicated to the sport, where every possible fraction of a second counts, then go for it!
Before the helmet I would go with a skin suit. They're expensive as well. But if you have the skin suit, the shoe covers, then the helmet is the next step.
