I'm currently playing KotOR 2 for PC. The problem with it is that I am experiencing some weird bugs on it. I installed the game and updated it to version 1.02b with the patch. When I got to the swoop track on Telos, my swoop bike would just float in the air and I was unable to win any races. I re-installed the game without installing the patch and I was able to race properly with the bike on the ground. When I got to Nar Shadaa, I was able to race properly (with the bike on the ground) but I can't win the races. The guy tells me that I had a terrible accident and I have to actually finish the race in order to win. I tried re-installing the patch and it just made my swoop bike float in the air again. Once again when i finished the race, the guy would tell me the same thing. I am unable to win this swoop track. Is there anything that I can do to fix this stupid crap? Is there any kind of txt file I can edit to make it work? I am running an ATI Radeon X1950 Pro with latest drivers.
Buy an xbox and play the game that way. There's just as many bugs in the xbox version, but I was able to beat the game with one or two re-trys. I know it's not the answer you want to hear, but the game is buggy as all hell. With a game like that BioWare could have 100 testers testing the game for a year and not catch all the bugs. Sorry. |
