A good question to answer.? |
why do these 1300 cc bikes like hayabusas have less speed enen than some 250cc. bikes in many racing events.?? although having very less mileage than 250 cc. bikes and very heavy compared to them.?? its bulky rite? ithink 1300cc hayabhus has more havey then 250cc more over it depandent on one who ride it and wheel spane can make a driffrent Race bikes are tuned to get every last ounce of power out of them. The engines are basically only good for one race and then need to be rebuilt from scratch, otherwise they will pretty much blow up from the strain. A Hayabusa is a consumer vehicle that should last over 100k miles if maintained properly. A two-stroke 250cc race bike might give you better lap times than a hayabusa, but it has more to do with handling than shear power. A hayabusa would beat that same 250cc if it was a contest of top speed in a straight line easy because it has way more usable torque. not having aerodynamic design Weight is the main factor, assuming all else is relatively equal. |
