Pagsta scooter motorcycle 49cc idle issues and maintenance procedures? |
I have a 2004 Pagsta 49cc motorcycle. I know it's a scooter, but it has all the gears and levers just like a full sized bike so its an easy bike for my very short girlfriend to learn on. Anyway it has an idle issue. It wants to race and then sputter out. 15mm carb with 2 screws. I've fiddled with them to no avail. I can get it to idle, but after a short trip its back to sputtering out. Also, if you know the maintenance procedures, any of them, please relay them here. It has all the gears and levers the same as the old Honda mini trail bikes. join this Yahoo, group, they DO know the tricks and all. Many Chinese Honda clone engines are fitted with cheap carbs, many of which don't have air idle hole drilled. Funny how a company like "Pagsta" doesn't offer customer support. |
