Am I wrong? |
I need some advice! My boyfriend has recently gotten into motorcycles and going to races. I have no problem with him going out of town to races but he was planning on going next weekend to Daytona "Bike week". I looked on the internet to see what kind of events go on there because I have always heard it was wild. Well, there are NO races going on and all there will be is partying. All the photos were of naked women walking around, wet t-shirt contests, etc.-- really nothing to do with motorcycles. I told him I did not feel comfortable with him going, because I was never invited. He got mad and said he wasn't going and now he is making me feel bad. Was I wrong??? No, you're not wrong at all. You didn't tell him he couldn't go. He's acting like a baby. If you went to a huge party with hot dudes in nothing but short shorts, he'd be mad too. He's just trying to guilt trip you into letting him go. If he really wants to spend time chasing chicks without you, let him. You can't control someone and he'll probably use you saying you're not comfortable with this idea as a reason to cheat. Not saying it will happen but, he could turn it around on you. It all sounds really fishy. He didn't invite you and then you find out there's no races going on. I think he just wants to sow his oates a bit. That would be fine if he was single. He's hiding way too much. If he keeps throwing tantrums over this, consider dumping him. Sounds like he's more interested in trying to laid by hoochies than respecting your feelings. well you wernt right acorrding to this extreme biis and guikltiy confession no! how would you feel if you wanted to go somewhere and he gave you an attitude to not go? you'll do the same thing he did, get mad and make him feel bad.. You are right, why cant he take you along anyway? Sounds like he wants to cheat on u. if your intention is just to protect him from committing any mistakes, its okay. why did he get mad? in the 1st place it was an outritght lie when he said there will be race. what if u did check? u will not find out right? ask him what are his intentions for going there since there will be no race. i mean, its like he's lying too..be cautious You are not wrong at all. You told him how you felt. That's good. He just seems to be acting like a baby about all this. If he continues to be upset with you, tell him to picture himself in YOUR shoes... see it from YOUR perspective. He's not acting like a good boyfriend if he lies to you to go hang out with naked women... |
