Does anyone know any places to run around vegas??!?!? |
so i am going to las vegas (Nevada) sometime next week and i need to run because i've been running all summer for cross country and i dont want all that to go to waste. So does anyone know any 5k or races coming up soon there, and where is the best place to ru n and what times, morning or evenings? Or would it just be better to go to a fitness center and run on a treadmill/eliptical or bike there? I live in vegas, but the suburbs have a lot more running paths and bike areas for people that the strip doesn't have. If you are staying at the strip it would be best to just go for the treadmill in the hotel. I've seen people run on the strip but it seems too crowded and not the best way to exercise. Treadmill at your hotel...the heat is too stifling Just got married there (07/07/07)...100+ degree weather from about 11am-9pm The exterior of Las Vegas consists mainly of desert, a partially compressible substance which is ideal for low-impact aerobic exercise. Provided you have scorpion resistant jogging apparel this should be an ideal location for your leisure requirements. |
