I don't want a normal job, how can i find not your average job? |
I am a 22 year old female with a H/S diploma, classes for airbrushing, and a make-up artist for special effects. I have many loves, cars, bikes, adventure,many forms of art, traveling, and so much more. I don't want to be in an office position, i want to do something exciting or with my art skills. If there is anyone out there that can help me find a job i would greatly appreciate it. I have thought about the impossible jobs in the world like racing cars, become a sky diving instructor or travel the world for a company. One of my goals in my life is to see the world, so i figure having a job in that would make it a lot easier to acomplish my goal....Please help me. Travel the world? US Navy is the greatest travel agency there is out there. Have you thought about opening your own business? Then where you work is up to you. Start by doing custom Airbrush work on vehicles. Save as much money as possibe and work on becoming a skydiving instructor. Apply at movie studio's for a special effects makeup artist position. That will help take you around the world for money. Imagine being one of the makeup artists in New Zeland working on the Lord of the Rings Trilogy for a year and a half. How sweet do you think that was for them? Nothing is impossible if its what you really want to do. with no degree in anything, you are best to use your BEST skill and I hope you love your best skill! If you are motivated enough, I would start an on-line business showing your art and other crafts, if you have any. If it goes well, I would try to open a really cool shop or gallery to display your art. On-line businesses do not require a lot of start up money, and my guess is you have none. You see, without a degree or a work history, no one is going to just give you a great job. They will not lend you any money to start up a great job either!! I suggest the above or , you could join the service and travel that way and get a great job in there like a fighter pilot or something. The other choices are, go to school to enhance your loves like art, or lastly, get some experience of working, even if you have to volunteer for free to get your foot in the door. This way, you can try anything and everyone will take free help and this allows you to learn a skill you like or just try it out to see if you are going to like it. That is how I decided on my career, I volunteered until I found my love, and then I learned my skill, and then made good money at it. it is very simple...all news papers have a section on what job you are looking for...Just put an ad in the paper of what kind of job you are looking for or say what kind of skills have and someone will contact you about a job.
