Is it possible to use a bike dynamo and a motor to run a bike ?

like let say you pedal for some seconds and you start to move and then the dynamos run the motor...and you pedal for every now and then to power up the motor...i know i need a powerful dynamo but would it be too hard to pedal if we use a powerful dynamo?

Good idea, but only way to make it work is with a good, efficient generator/motor and battery system, with the electronics to control the battery charger.

Best if you combine the generator and motor in one unit, and save weight and friction.

Problems will be weight.

biggest saving will be using the generator to charge the battery on long downhills. Is that worth the extra energy in carrying the weight of the unit around?

Don't expect to get something for nothing, eg, have the generator run the motor which drives the generator. Doesn't work.
