What should I expect to pay for a used Iron Horse Warrior Expert?

I am wondering if I am getting a good deal. It has countless upgrades such as WTB Crank, aluminum seat post, aluminum bars, and aluminum pedals. What would a bike like this cost?

WTB Cranks are not that expensive and most of these come standard with aluminum seat posts, bars and pedals, so those don't "wow" me. Look at what the bike costs new and then subtract for age, wear and tear and what it's worth to you.

To many private party sales want to recoup their entire investment in a bike because to them it's "worth" what they paid for it. Remember this is a business transaction and stay non-emotional about it. To me - a used bike that I can buy new for - say $500, is probably worth about 1/2 of the new price REGARDLESS of upgrades. I'd offer them $250 and see what they say.
Remember that many "upgrades" can detract from the value of the bike because they are not compatible with the manufacturer's specifications etc.... Some "upgrades" can even be dangerous or poorly installed.

Best advice - decide the MAXIMUM you want to pay going in and don't go above it. You'll be surprised how much negotiation leverage you get when you're willing to walk away.

I have an Iron Horse Warrior. They are very tough and a cool bike. Used, i would bargain for 300 to 400 hundred, but i really dont know what to expect.
