Whats the easiet way of doing 10,000 steps a day?

does a step counter count when you pedal on your bike??

i presume ull do the steps more quickly on a bike ??

Get out from behind the computer, off of your lazy butt, and then put the left foot in front of the right foot.

"You can't steal second with your foot on first."

Hi, 10,000 steps a day is roughly equivalent to walking five miles so the easiest way is to look for excuses to be up and moving. Every little thing helps like walking the dog, parking far from the store, going up and down your stairs at home a million times. Your question about a pedometer and a bicycle is a good one. The pedometer works when your leg/hip movement makes it register, so it makes sense that it would work on a bike. Can you map out a mile on your bike and then see what the pedometer registers? If it's in the vicinity of 2,000 steps, then it works fairly accurately. For more ideas of how to get more activity into your day, see the "activity" section of the website: easy-weightloss-tips. Good luck and let us know about the bike, okay?

It's a step counter, not a pedal counter so I'd say probably not, but a gadget called a "Caltrac" can measure the calories you burn during most exercises. It has adjustments for different ones.

All my clients use one for their weight loss and fitness routines

Anyway, do the 10,000 steps and THEN
pedal your bike - you will get even fitter then ;-)

Good Luck

walk around the neighborhood.
the counter does register on the bike too.

Just make time for your daily walk or run. Get yourself a good pedometer.
