Bicycle won't coast? |
So I found this bike behinds my grandpa's shed. It's 30 years old. Used to be my dad's. Took it all apart. Sanded off all the rust. Fresh coat of paint. Put everything back together except now, it won't coast. When u pedal backwards the chain follows. Shouldn't it just make a fun little clicking noise instead? It knocks the chain off when u pedal back also. Any help? Did I forget a crucial piece. It used to work fine. So sad... If this is not a fixed gear bike, then your problem lies in the freewheel. The freewheel will need to be taken apart and repaired, at worst the freewheel would have to be replaced. dude not a clue - you sure its not a fixed gear bike? |
