When using platform pedals can do u use the biking shoes without the pedals or regular running shoes? |
dont feel comfortable climbing steep hills with them With platform pedals, you can use just about any shoe you want. In the past I've bought "cycling shoes" that weren't much different from an ordinary athletic shoe. The only cycling specific feature, other than the brand name, might have been a tread pattern that marginally helped flipping a platform pedal over to get the toe clip up into the air. I have had very good luck with a fairly stiff soled New Balance athletic shoe. |
