How do I go backwards with my bike without the pedals moving? |
How do I go backwards with my bike without the pedals moving? You need to buy a special hub to do that. Check Danscomp.com they carry them. They're called freecoaster hubs. the wind is very strong where you are riding your bike Stand backwards at the top of a hill and just rest your feet on the pedals jump off a cliff! Freecoaster hub would be the way to go You need a freecoaster. Im planning on buying one myself its meant for more technical street/park riders and flatlanders. Its obvious the first 3 answerers know nothing of bikes.. Like mentioned, you need some type of freewheel hub on the back. The type of bike you have connects the rear gear directly to the axle. A freewheel uses a system that will catch the gear when it is moving faster than the axle but lets the axle roll when it moves faster than the gear. Take your bike to a local bike shop. They'll get you set up with what you need. well im sort of a crazy bmxer and instead of fakieing with a freecoaster I jump on my seat after a 180 and yell freecoastin |
