Clicking in my knee...should I see a doctor? |
I have a clicking my the inside of my knee. Everytime I walk down stairs or pedal a full rotation on my bike, it clicks/pops. It doesn't usually hurt, only on occasion. Sometimes if I make a quick movement, there will be some intense pain but it usually stops hurting all together within 24 hours. I first noticed this after I had slipped and fallen while I was hiking down a steep trail. Is it something I should get checked out or just deal with it? This has been going on for about 6 months now. You probably have a mensical tear. See an orthopedic doc for an exam and possible MRI ... go to a doctor Sounds like cartlidge floating around in your knee. My knee has popped for like the past 2 years. Even though it may just be a little extra fluid floating around, you should still see a doctor. |
