Which way do i turn the pedal on the right side? |
These are the first pedals i wasted(from grinding). Now im changing them and im having problems with the right pedal. im confused which way do i turn it if i have the bike upside down? what??? ENGLISH or SPANISH PLEASE! RH (drive) side-standard First put the chain on the big ring gear. saves a lot of blood. Facing the right pedal, turn the shaft clockwise to tighten, counter-clockwise to loosen. The left pedal is the opposite: counter-clockwise to tighten, clockwise to loosen. Whether the bike is up side down or right side up, IF it is the pedal on the chain wheel side of the crank: DOOD! Just do it in front of the mirror! (That really helps me!) don't think of it as which way to turn the pedal The right side (or drive side) is clockwise, the left is counterclockwise. Right is right, left is left. |
