Is this a good diet if I am trying to lose alot of weight? |
Breakfast: Slim Fast Shake or Slim Fast Meal Bar Lunch: Caesar Salad with croutons, Grilled Chicken, Pita Pocket, Water Dinner/Supper: Normal Meal, like meat, vegetable, and some sort of side like rice or mashed potatoes, and water or diet coke Snacks: pretzels, popcorn, flavored rice cakes, apples (only one of these, not all of them) Exercise: Riding bike for 1 hour every day, 15 minutes on a stepper which is like this thing that has two pedals and you stand on it and push them up and down while holding on to a bar with your hands I am trying to lose alot of weight. Is this a good diet? How should I change, if it have to? You are on the right track... Try taking out the Caesar dressing and croutons and using a light or fat free dressing or even oil and vinegar. The pita pocket can go if you can let it! More veggies, less starch! dinner - try to cut back on the red meat and start putting fish in your diet! Protein helps build lean muscle! If you can do without the starch, add more veggies and call it a meal, if you must have a starch, lose the mashed potatoes and try some brown rice or even steam cauliflower and mash it up - it is a good substitute for mashed potatoes!! snacks....those stacks are all carbs. try a handle full of cherry tomatoes, or some almonds. My favorite "cheat foods" are fat free hot dogs (only 40 calories and NO fat - instead of 17 g in a regular dog) and cereal (special k red berries has only 110 cal in 1 cup - it will satisfy your sweet tooth!) Your are definitely on the right track! Don't forget portion size is key!! Hi, how are you doing! If your concerned about losing weight try reading the following article! And, I just weighed myself today and measured my bust, waist, hips, thigh, calf and arm, and so far (within 2 days) I've lost 4 inches! I feel great. Last time I weighed myself was on Wednesday when I started it and I weighed 145 pounds. I don't have a scale right now, so I don't know how much weight I have lost. The people and Modulators will help you with ANY questions and all that you have. I want to be down to around 115-120 pounds by the end of April, so hopefully I will get there.
