I have recurring dreams where I can't run fast and then I wake all sweaty? |
What kind of issues do I have? Last night I had a dream that I was being chased by an eight foot giant who wanted to shank me with a broken bottle. He was chasing me all over the neighborhood and I couldn't run fast. Then the other night I was riding my a bike through some trails looking for my dog (I don't have a bike or a dog) and it was very hard to to pedal. Everytime I wake up drenched in sweat even though the AC and fans are on. Your dreams are telling you 2 things: 1. there are issues in your life that you need to face. 2. chasing, and riding are forms of speed. this symbolizes your journey in life. whatever is your state of being now, focus on what you are really looking in life. what do you really want to become? Ponder why it is hard for you to move and make a pedal (decisions) . If you can determine the blockages then whatever issues are there in your life now - will be easier to resolve once fears/ anxiety are identified ; thus the pace to your destination will be clearer and manageable. Source(s): my source : my own experience in dreams. God talks to us in our subconsious. in our sleep things are real. a good dream can be actualized, a bad dream can be avoided by prayers OMG!! Ive had dreams like that too. Not lately but ive also had dreams when i cant run fast from a person and then i wake up panting and thirsty. Its normal, dont worry!! itll go away, i dont think it means anything though.:) Next time, stop and turn around. It's psychological. If you face what's causing your fear in the dream, it'll change the outcome. For every single case I've heard of this, the dreams always stopped when they confronted their pursuer. The pursuer never did anything that could harm them. They tried, but it just didn't work. All they can really do is try and try and try reinstill the fear. It'll never work. If you don't let them, now they are as powerless as baby kittens. me too, that happens to me to, once I've dreamed that I was walking in a park at night and there was a mister chancing me trying to assult me, then I was running trying to run away then I was running very slow, but I'm not sure sometimes I feel like my legs are weird I don't know. But in real life, do you have any problems with your legs? Sometimes these dreams are associated with frustration, Rio. You know you need to move fast but something just stops you? I used to have a dream where I chased a train (!) I would always just get a glimpse of it disappearing around a bend. Maybe you see a threat (8 ft giant) but feel frustrated at not being able to resolve it? Do a google search on "lucid dreaming." Its a way to learn how to realize that you are dreaming. Once you can do this, you can learn to control your dreams. I got into this sh*t from watching the movie "Waking Life." It actually works. Flying, kicking @ss, naked hotties.... |
