Where can I find a reverse pedaling/forward direction bottom bracket for a bicycle?

A year ago, I found a bottom bracket that allowed both forward and reverse pedaling. Reverse pedaling still resulted in a forward direction. This product was used on mountain bikes to allow different muscle to be used to extend human effort.

I can't find the site now.

It was going for $150 made in Korea or Taiwan. It may have crank arms attached.

Yeah, it was around since about 1998, made in Taiwan. If you have the name of it, you might be able to search www.kita.org for more info.

I am not absolutely sure that they are made anymore. Source(s): 26 years as a bike mechanic

Why don't you ask in 700 years ( We and all the animals are doomed)
I don't have an answer, but I have to say I'm intrigued and amazed by the existence of such a product! That's awesome!!
Check out the website below. Cruise to the bottom of the page in the middle and click on the retro-two speed photo. There's plenty of links in there that show how it works.
