I know how to modify my bicycle the same way, i forget the web site but if u yahood "bicycle land speed record" the site would come up,, So my question to u all is would u give up ur car if u could easily and safely pedal ur way every where up to 80 mph. i guess it would depend on where u lived and the weather,
That bicycle had to have a car going in front of it to break up the wind drag. Otherwise there's no way one person could have pedaled it. The torque necessary to overcome the 150-mph wind resistance just isn't there with one person. Think of it - 300 horsepower cars have trouble making 150.
Then how do you get groceries, pick up kids, take kids to school, get a woman to go out with you on a date, etc. No way would we give up cars & trucks. |
