Motorizing a Bicycle? |
I was thinking of taking off the pedals and connecting a chainsaw engine. Just looking for some suggestions Cool, But please remember to use a proper chain and gear wheels. *Depending upon the type of torque you'll be generating, I would imagine that a run-of-the-mill bicycle chain could be a disaster. Good luck! (;=] umm i bet u get straight A's if u know how to do that....i cant even build a lego house, but leave the bike alone Already been done, long ago.... Check it out. http://www.whizzermotorbike.com/... You are taking on a huge project. It would be much easier to buy a bike motor kit off Ebay (I've seen them there for about $100. There is also another site, I think they were called King bike motors they were a little more money, but, had bigger engines. Edit: check out www.kingsmotorbikes.com yeah man use some duct tape and a huge hammer drill a hole in the frame for extra gas leave the bar on for those pesky cars ride next to them and cut their tires |
