I want to put a radio on my bike and put a generator near the pedals so that pedaling the pedals will produce enough electricity to power the radio. Can anyone offer any advice or ideas as to where I can get materials and how much it will cost? I'm not totally expecting this to happen but with your help, I might be able to pull it off.
If you can figure out how to do it, that alone would be very cool.
Just be selective as to when you use it; this isn't the safest idea to begin with. Bicycles are hard to see and aren't expected to be seen by drivers of vehicles. Add that to someone on a bike that can't hear them coming and you have a disaster on your hands.
Ok dude that's no going to work without your bike falling apart. Get a mp3 player man.
