How can I turn a regular bicycle into a stationary bike for very little $$? |
I don't want to buy a trainer. I want to MAKE something that will hold the rear tire off the ground but still allow me to pedal. It needs to be smaller than the store-bought types but just as stable. Any ideas? it all depends on how good you are with some lumber, nails, screws, etc.... I tried it, but everytime it did not last very long because the stress and wear and tear on the wheel wasn't worth it so I bought a trainer at Performance Bike for around 100 bucks How much did you pay for the regular bicycle? More or less than a trainer? If a lot more go ahead and buy a trainer. It wil be quieter. Sometimes you get what you pay for. I guarantee I'm cheaper and better with tools than you are, but I can't beat this. See below. http://www.performancebike.com/shop/prof... |
